Service Deel operates as an online platform that facilitates connections between Job Seekers, Employers, Service Providers, clients, and other users. Service Deel is not a party to any employment, service, contractual, financial, or personal arrangement entered into between users unless expressly stated otherwise.
1. Each user is solely responsible for conducting appropriate due diligence before hiring, accepting employment, engaging a Service Provider, accepting a client, meeting another user, making payments, or entering into any agreement through or as a result of using the Service Deel platform.
2. Users are responsible for independently verifying, as appropriate, the identity, qualifications, licenses, certifications, employment history, references, experience, background, reputation, and other relevant information of any person or organization with whom they choose to transact or engage.
3. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Service Deel does not guarantee the identity, character, qualifications, reliability, conduct, safety, legality, or suitability of any user and shall not be responsible for the acts or omissions of users or for losses, damages, disputes, injuries, misconduct, fraud, theft, harassment, accidents, or other adverse events arising from interactions, transactions, employment arrangements, service engagements, or meetings between users.
4. Users acknowledge that they engage with other users at their own discretion and are responsible for taking reasonable precautions to protect their safety, property, finances, and interests.
Nothing in this provision is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable Philippine law.
