If a disagreement arises between a Job Seeker, Employer, Service Provider, or Client, both parties should first communicate through Service Deel messages to clarify the issue and seek a fair solution.
- Discuss the concern. Review the agreed scope of work, payment, deadline, contract, and milestones.
- Keep supporting records. Save relevant messages, receipts, photos, and proof of completed work.
- Report unresolved issues. Contact Service Deel support with a clear explanation and supporting evidence.
- Cooperate respectfully. Provide accurate information and respond to requests for clarification.

Service Deel may review reported concerns and assist communication between users. However, it does not guarantee a settlement, refund, or payment recovery. Disputes requiring legal action may be referred to the appropriate authorities or dispute resolution channels.
For milestone payments, review the completed work and any unresolved concerns before approving the release of funds.
Here is the step by step to rise a dispute.
1. Go to your dashboard click contract and click the job you want to open a dispute.

Click Dispute to open a new dispute.

2. Choose a reason, provide details about the issue, and click Open a dispute.

3. In the dispute section, you can communicate with both parties to help resolve the disagreement and upload evidence to support your case.

4. From your dashboard, click dispute to view your dispute and check it's status.

Depending on the issue raised, please allow up to 5 business days for the dispute to be reviewed and for both parties to work toward resolving the disagreement. The final decision will be based on the evidence submitted, the agreed terms, and the facts of the case.

Important Notice: Once a dispute is opened, all messages exchanged within the dispute will be recorded and may be reviewed as part of the resolution process.
Warning for Both Parties: Communicate respectfully, provide truthful information, and submit genuine evidence. Threats, harassment, abusive language, or false or altered evidence may result in account restrictions or suspension. Avoid sharing sensitive personal information unrelated to the dispute.
